Virtual Career Fair Prep Workshop

All MS Students

This prep session will guide you on how to make a winning impression on employers in a virtual environment!  You will become familiar with the Virtual Career Fair platform, gain expertise in navigating the site, receive tips on successful conversation starters and learn how to keep your connections after the fair.  This prep session is offered to support your participation in the actual virtual career fair on 10/18/2018.

This is a working workshop so bring your laptop and a professional photo to set up your profile with. Discover the Power of LinkedIn and how to fully leverage it as a job search tool. This is a hands-on workshop. Please bring your laptops, create an initial LinkedIn account and arrive on time!


SQL Workshop

All MS Students

Association: Master of Finance Association (MFA)

This workshop is an introductory course of SQL, participants will learn SQL to query large corporate databases to pull relevant information and edit existing databases.


Education Pioneers Corporate Conversation

All MS and MBA Students

Introduction: If you are interested in using your degree and professional experience(s) to transform education from outside of the classroom, I would encourage you to attend our corporate conversation to learn more about the Education Pioneers Summer Fellowship.

Education Pioneers recruits, develops and connects top professionals to work for K-12 school districts, charter schools, and other education organizations in non-instructional roles. Fellows complete a 10-week summer placement using existing skills and experience to make the biggest impact. During their placement, Fellows participate in leadership development programming alongside a cohort of diverse peers designed to build the mindsets and K-12 knowledge necessary to become a change agent in education.

Introduction: Do you loathe the idea of buying a car? Are you unsure about how to maintain a car? Learn from the experts on how to buy and finance a new or used car, choose a repair shop, and keep your car running smoothly. Phrases like “down payment” and “APR” can seem daunting, so our goal is to make this process straightforward and easy to understand. Attend this workshop to get informed on a range of topics from the dealership to the mechanic.
