Smith Part Time MBA Students Welcomed Dean Triantis to the Rockville Campus for Dinner and a Q&A Session
Dean Alex Triantis started off Term C of the Part Time MBA program by visiting the Rockville campus for dinner and conversation. The event was open to all Part Time MBA students and current students from both the Rockville and Baltimore campuses attended.
Dean Triantis took the opportunity to introduce Wendy Moe in her new role of Associate Dean of Master’s Programs. She will be serving on the Dean’s senior leadership team and oversee all MBA and Specialty Master’s Programs. Dr. Progyan Basu, faculty academic director and clinical professor, was also at the session.
The Q&A portion was a great opportunity for current students to give feedback on the Part Time MBA program, as well as ask questions. There was some great conversation on various way to connect with MBA students and alumni across all the programs, as well as consulting projects and opportunities available for Part Time MBA students.
As the session concluded, Julie Neill, a Part Time MBA Career Consultant for the Rockville campus, pointed out that there are some great events coming up that the Part Time MBA students might be interested in attending, including: a Thought Leadership Conference, an Alumni Mock Interview event, and a Career Bootcamp.
The students enjoyed the session (and the pizza, of course) and made sure to thank Kathryn Duffy and
Tagrina Rayhan from the Rockvile Masters Programs Office for all their hard work!
