IT ALERT: Phishing email currently being sent to Smith Community

There is a phishing email currently being targeted at the UMD community from IT Service Center with the subject line of (umd.edu) email quota . This is not a legitimate email, you can mark it as spam without any further action. A sample of the email is shown below.

  • Treat email attachments with caution.
  • Don’t click links in email messages.
