My name is Vania Chen. I am a senior, pursuing a double major in operations management and finance. I am very passionate about my Asian ethnicity and served as the co-president of our school’s TASA (Taiwanese American Student Association) last year. I decided to study abroad in Hong Kong because I have never been to another country in East Asia outside of Taiwan. I have only been in Hong Kong for a month now, but even so, I have learned and seen so much, and made so many new friends, these past few weeks. Studying abroad in Hong Kong has not only allowed me to experience the culture here but also those of other nearby countries, including Japan, Korea, Thailand, and Singapore.
My name is Aashima, and I’m a junior supply chain management and finance major at UMD. I love being involved on campus with activities like Alpha Kappa Psi, a co-ed business fraternity and the QUEST Honors program. But I left it all behind this semester to do a semester exchange program at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, and it’s been one of the best decisions I made in college!
I am a Smith senior Marketing major on exchange for one semester at Copenhagen Business School in Copenhagen, Denmark. This is my first experience in another country and I’m very much enjoying the rich history, green lifestyle and bicycle culture of Denmark. Not to mention the great drinks, delicious pastries and cozy atmosphere that Copenhagen has to offer.
