Do you love to play and want to support a nonprofit that helps bring healthy play to kids in DC every day?

Playworks DC is holding their first ever PowerPlayers breakfast to celebrate 10 years of programming in the DC area and honor some of their biggest supporters with a playful spin on a powerful networking event with a mission. The morning will be filled with inspiration, Junior Coach leaders, breakfast, and more. This event will bring together power players from corporate, nonprofit, education, and government spheres to support the play movement and ensure that all their children have access to critical play-based learning for children in elementary school.

Playworks is the leading national nonprofit leveraging the power of play to transform children’s social and emotional health. They create a place for every kid on the playground to feel included, be active, and build valuable social and emotional skills. Their trained, full-time coaches support at hundreds of low-income schools in major urban areas. They also provide professional training for school staff who support recess and consultative partnerships for any school, district, or youth organizations that want to ensure that every kid plays safely, inclusively, and with joy.
