Volunteer Opportunities

Mentor one youth. Change two lives

Teens Run DC is looking for volunteers to help in all aspects of our program – from working with our youth directly as mentor or friend, to assisting in fundraising efforts, marketing, communications, and/or community outreach. We are a young and dynamic program, but more than a program we are building a community where everyone learns and everyone grows. Come join us.

Our Mission: Teens Run DC empowers underserved youth to build up their fitness, self-confidence, problem-solving strategies, and goal-setting skills through an integrated physical activity and social emotional learning curriculum. With a fundamental belief in caring relationships and a welcoming community as the contexts for learning and growth and a strengths-based approach to our youth, we dream of a world where all youth feel connected to their communities and themselves, and through that connection, they can learn, grow, and succeed.
