Just waiting to walk across the stage

I finished all my work on Monday and have just been hanging out with my friends every day.  The MBA program really has come to an end and all that is left to do is sit through a three hour ceremony so that I can walk across the stage, hear my name being called and see my parents smile.  What an interesting two years this has been and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.  All the late nights have been worth it whether it be in a case room with a team or at the bar.  Looking back on it, it really seemed quite easy, although I know this wasn’t true.  I remember all the complaining I did when I was in it.  I think it is better to remember it the way I do.  Now on to the next phase of my life, where all of my friends become great leaders and I look for a job.  I like to tell myself that I might be a little slow to the start, but in the end I’m going to finish strong.  Thats what keeps me going as I exhaustingly look for a job.  Now that I have more time on my hands it should be even easier.

So now as the countdown to the ceremony on Friday begins I am going to do everything I can to just enjoy myself and those around me because by the end of the month everything is going to change. Probably not for better or for worse, just change.  I like change so this should be good!
