I’m confused about which transcripts need to be uploaded into my application. Won’t my ‘official’ transcripts become ‘unofficial’ once I open the envelope?
In order to apply for our Part Time MBA program, we do need an official transcript. However, you’re absolutely correct in saying that the official transcript is no longer official once you open the envelope. So, here is what you do… order TWO official transcripts from your undergraduate institution. Open one and scan it to include in your application. Keep the other one sealed – once you are accepted into the program the Graduate School will contact you directly to tell you when/where to turn it in.
Also, please note that applicants will need to upload a transcript from any school they attended. At times, if an applicant transfers in courses from a community college to a 4 year school, the 4 year school transcript does not always list the grades received at the community college. To be on the safe side, applicants should submit all transcripts to avoid a delay in an admission decision later on.
