LockDown Browser updates being pushed out
Student (desktop) Version – An update was just pushed out
This past week we pushed out a required update to the student version of LockDown Browser. This means students using the Windows or Mac versions of LockDown Browser on their own computers will be upgraded automatically the next time they start the application. Note, we typically schedule a required update to the student version of LockDown Browser in late December and early July of each year. Required updates might also occur if a critical fix has been released. Updates can be obtained during the year by using the “Check for Update” feature in LockDown Browser, or running the full installation program.
We can all use help sometimes! And with LockDown Browser, you’ll find it on the toolbar with the Help Center button (Windows and Mac). Help Center lets students quickly run a system and network check on their computer, giving immediate information about what might be wrong. If the solution isn’t clear, they can access a student Knowledge Base within LockDown Browser and/or send the system check results directly to your help desk. Students can also open a ticket directly with Respondus. More details on LockDown Browser’s Help Center are available here: http://www.respondus.com/products/monitor/helpcenter.shtml.
If you have technical questions about any of the above, please open a support ticket at http://support.respondus.com.
