New Matlab availablity thru Terpware
New computational tools are now available to university community members thanks to an expanded University of Maryland campus-wide license for MATLAB, Simulink, and companion toolboxes. The MathWorks Total Academic Headcount license covers on-campus and home installations for all current students, instructors, staff, and researchers, as well as classroom and lab installations. The software may be run on machines connected to the UMD network, standalone laptops/workstations, and machines without Internet access.
Please see the details below about connecting with the new license.
Standalone Users (software is installed on your computer, no network connection needed for use)
Please go to terpware.umd.edu and choose the Access for Everyone version of MATLAB or go to the UMD MathWorks Portal and log in with an existing MathWorks account or create a new one. To keep your current work, you’ll need to log in with your existing MathWorks account.
Concurrent Users (classrooms, labs, or connecting via the network)
The current license servers have the new site license with all the available toolboxes, so no changes are necessary to maintain current functionality through the new license. If you want to use newly available toolboxes, you will need to install them in your MATLAB installation.
